With its key location, the AYC is one of the most beautiful places in South Jersey, and a perfect place to have your wedding. Recently voted "Best sunset at the Shore" by Philadelphia magazine, the AYC is one of the most sought after premises for events. We host weddings during the spring and fall seasons, but unfortunately not in the summer between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Whether you desire a large extravagant wedding or a small intimate one, our Club is the ideal place. Unlike other large banquet halls, when you have your wedding at the AYC, you have the entire building reserved for you and your guests, providing a close, intimate atmosphere.  Voted best wedding sunset  in Philadelphia Magazine 2006!

Ceremonies

Wedding ceremonies will take place on our north deck, weather permitting. Otherwise the ceremony will be held on our indoor balcony. 

Maitre d'

Our onsite event manager, Terry Thompson, will coordinate all planning and details for your wedding. Terry has the been the General Manager for the AYC for the past 10 years. She will assist you with your floral arrangements, entertainment, wedding cake, favors and every intricate detail to make your wedding day perfect. Terry will also help you coordinate your day around the exact time of sunset, to ensure beautiful wedding pictures for a life time of memories.

Cuisine

Peter Mark, the executive chef of the Avalon Yacht Club for 18 years, will provide the cuisine for your special day. From a one entree dinner, to a choice of three, Chef Peter will work with you one on one to figure out which foods will be best for you and your guests.
