Hello, my name is Carolyn Avellino and I am the president of the women's auxiliary for the 2007-2008 season.  My husband Don is the commodore and we work as a team to provide an eventful fun-filled season of activities and entertainment for the enjoyment of all members.  We are busy working with our entertainment committee, special event chairs, AYC staff and chefs, preparing the calendar, creating the yearbook and much more.

The AYC women's committee runs an additional group of clubs and events exclusive to AYC members.  Annual favorites are the House Tour and Fashion show which are always sell out events.  Spectacular homes have already been secured and a widely known clothing establishment is in place for the fashion show..prepare to be "wowed"

We have an active book, bridge and golf club.

The funds raised by the AYC WA are used towards club beautification, advancing activities of the club, youth and sailing as well as supporting local civic and charitable organizations. 

Our success is due to the committed volunteers we have year after year.  Please consider donating your time to add to the enjoyment of the club.  Chairs are in place for all the events scheduled for the summer of 08.  A huge team of volunteers is always needed to work behind the scenes to assure the outcome of each event is spectacular.  This is a great way to meet people at the club and always is a ton of fun!  Don and I are distributing AYC-VIP T-shirts for the AYC Volunteers who work "above and beyond the call of duty."  These coveted shirts are not only fashionable but show your support of the AYC as the premiere club of the Jersey Shore due to committed staff and devoted volunteers.  Don't miss out on the opportunity to get a limited edition VIP T-shirt and feel good about yourself for donating valuable time for the enjoyment of all members!
